Hamons enjoys small-town feel, enabling him to become an author

Working in a fast-growing community like Harrison, Shannon Hamons has many roles to fill as the economic development director. “I guess my job really is, when you get down to the core of it, it is to make Harrison a better place to live, work and visit,” he said.

Couch, Sowders lead eight Wildcats to district

Even in a “down” season, Harrison High School’s boys wrestling team has again proven itself one of Southwest Ohio’s top programs. The Wildcats qualified eight to this week’s Division I District Tournament at Kettering Fairmont High School’s Trent Arena.
