The Rising Sun Regional Foundation’s 2021 Scholarship Program will award $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors for the purpose of post-secondary education in any accredited institution of higher learning.

Friendship bank awarding 5 scholarships

The Friendship State Bank has been honoring the Wilke S. and James W. Lemon legacies with a scholarship for over 20 years. This year the community bank will award five high school seniors who show a commitment to their community a $1,000 scholarship for college. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 5.

It was, really, the last time Harrison High School fans gathered in Wildcat Stadium without restrictions, protocols and masks. Thursday, March 5, 2020 – the day the Southwest Local School District broke ground for its stadium renovation projects.
