Prom Parade

School community helping Lburg woman after fire

When Sandy Flach’s Lawrenceburg home was destroyed in a fire last week all she had left were the clothes on her back and the stuff in her car. The Harrison community was part of a number of groups that rallied around Flach and offered whatever it could give.

Herd immunity may be getting closer

Although the numbers don’t look like it Dearborn County could be close to herd immunity in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. As of Wednesday, May 26, there were 17,046 people in the county fully vaccinated, according to the Indiana Department of Health’s COVID dashboard.

Baylor is Walmart’s carrier of the year

Baylor Trucking has once again been recognized by Walmart as a Carrier of the Year. The company has been recognized as a Carrier of the Year by Walmart four times, and in 2021 received its second consecutive award as Diversity Carrier of the Year.
