Spec building proposed in Harrison

An industrial development could potentially be built at the corner of Harrison Avenue, Dry Fork Road and Simonson Road. Harrison and Harrison Township are having conversations about how to make the speculative building a reality.

Mason eliminates ‘battling’ Wildcats 3-1

One bad inning – really, one bad pitch – was enough to end Harrison High School’s baseball season. The Wildcats fell to Mason 3-1 in a Division I sectional final game May 25 at Elder High School’s Panther Athletic Complex.

Regional track, field filled with Wildcats

Regional track meets are busy events, with several events going on at once, in all corners of the venue. At last week’s Division I Southwest regional meet, Harrison Wildcats were in all but one of the competition areas.

Harrison/Great Oaks students among top business students

More than 10,000 of the top business and marketing high school students in the world gathered virtually in April to match skills and talent at the DECA International Career Development Conference. When the competitions were done, four students from the Harrison/ Great Oaks program were among the top 20 worldwide in their event.

Many on Harrison’s Role of Honor are still in this area

In the earliest part of the 20th century, around 1900, the editors of the Harrison News, the village’s local paper at that time, published a historical patriotic booklet. This publication entitled, “The Roll of Honor – Harrison in the Civil War,” listed every known man who served in the Union Army, from Harrison, just around 35 years prior.

Shelf-stable and ready to eat meal boxes contain seven dinners and seven snacks.
