Homemade market opening next month

A spring and summer favorite will be back in Harrison this year. The Historic Harrison Community Market will be operating on the first Sunday of each month starting May 2.

New Crosby Twp. vehicle will help on all terrains

Crosby Township Fire Department has a new vehicle that will help them on all terrains. Fire Chief Jason Davis said the all-terrain vehicle and brush unit will carry water, hand tools for fields, chainsaws to cut down brush and other equipment the department may need in the case of a brush fire or fire in a secluded area.

Knights looking for new council home

The Knights of Columbus council is looking for a home. The Harrison Home Company, the land management branch of the Knights of Columbus, recently applied for a zone change from an R-0 low density annexation district to an R-4 multi-family residential district with a conditional use at 9970 Carolina Trace Road, a property it owns.
