Challenge may help achieve goals

The new Trek & Run Trail Challenge sets levels of achievement with motivating milestones for hikers and runners. The program creates a fun trekking community where mileage is logged and shared to earn prizes at the end of the challenge season on Nov.

Cats have nine lives heading to regionals

Nine Harrison Wildcats have qualified to the Division I regional track and field meet this week at Wayne High School in Huber Heights. The nine – all girls – did so my placing in the top four of their events in the district tournament May 19 and May 21 at Ross.

Finley named to SNHU President’s List

Daniel Finley of Harrison has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2021 President’s List. The winter term runs from January to May.

Cassandra Hecox-Gomez, who is is studying for an Associate of Science degree, has been named to the autumn semester Dean’s List at Columbus State Community College. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher..

Knights video gamers are state champs

The sound of rapidly clicking video game controllers filled the South Dearborn High School Knights Esports teams’ computer lab May 21, as a focused group of athletes beat Kankakee Valley High School to claim the Indiana High School Esports Network 1A State Championship for video game Rocket League.
