Community supporting teen who has Stage 4 cancer

The Lawrenceburg community is rallying around a 14-year-old high schooler who has stage 4 renal cancer. Brady Gabbard was diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cell carcinoma this summer at Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

The 2021 Dearborn County 4-H Fair Queen and recent Lawrenceburg High School graduate Kaylan Galey says she is grateful the county fair was able to take place this year, although the culmination of 10 years of competing was bittersweet.

Online auction helping to fill the pool

A downtown Aurora estate liquidation business has partnered with the city to help “Fill the Pool” by offering an online auction featuring various items valued $50, or more, July 8-15. Items are being accepted for donation until July 7.
