Seeds of literacy begins before school
As parents, we all want our children to grow up to be happy and successful. As neighbors, we hope that each child grows up to be a productive contributor to our shared community. As business leaders and as employers, we need a work force that has the skills needed to succeed in the workplace of the future. The foundation for all of these things begins with literacy, with the ability to read, to decode and interpret information, and to evaluate the deluge of information that surrounds us each day.
