Students receive Miami degrees The following Harrison students received degrees from Miami University Dec. 11 : Jillian Campagna graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in art.
Taylor Oberjohann of Harrison was among the seven Ohio Connections Academy (OCA) students to receive a Prudential Spirit of Community Award in recognition of their volunteer service to the community. Oberjohann, an eighth grader at the online public charter school, worked with school, city and county officials, as well as representatives from Duke Energy, to replace and upgrade traffic and crosswalk lighting signals in front of the local middle school to ensure the safety of the pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Morgan Woyckey and her dog Gordon enjoyed the snow with other dog friends at the Harrison Dog Park on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Albert Nanni loved to tell stories, but he also liked to play and teach violin. He would invite some of his more experienced students to play in his group Nanni Strings. They practiced in his living room and played for many different occasions around the area.
A way for men to grow in their faith, vocation and fellowship – that’s what the annual E6 Catholic Men’s Conference offers. The conference is designed to bring men into a deeper relationship with Christ.
Planning has started for an in-person Dearborn County 4-H fair June 21-26, complete with midway and fair food. 4-H leadership will work closely with the Dearborn County Health Department to ensure the safety of all participants and fair patrons.
You have probably heard about Hope’s Journey in recent months in stories about us in the Harrison Press and on social media. We are a non profit 501(c) (3) organization which has been established by members of local churches who have worked with the needy in our community and through that have witnessed the need for a men’s cooperative home here in Harrison since we have nothing here to reach out and rebuild the lives of homeless men.
The pace of the high school wrestling season has been choppy, at best, in 2020-2021. Teams usually build their schedules around large invitationals, smaller quad events and a handful of dual matches, to prepare for the four-week run in late February and early March, from the league tournaments through the state tournament.
The second individual state championship in Ohio high school girls wrestling in 2021 was won by a Harrison High School freshman. Chloe Dearwester pinned all four opponents she faced in the state tournament Feb.
