Two probationary troopers assigned to Versailles district

Two new Indiana State Troopers are assigned to the Verrsailles Post. Troopers Sam Simpkins and Brandon Love have recently graduated from the 80th Indiana State Police Academy Simpkins is a 2015 graduate of Milan High School.

The Waters now welcoming visitors

The Waters of Rising Sun has recently started allowing visitors to the facility once again. Starting March 11 people could finally start visiting their loved ones in the nursing home.

Saints lefty Mitchell Morris deals 3-hit shutout

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - Thomas More University senior pitcher Mitchell Morris threw a 7-inning complete game shutout to help the Saints baseball team nail down a doubleheader sweep of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) Friday, March 5.

Bill would provide license plates to Purple Heart families

The Indiana House of Representatives recently voted unanimously to advance legislation co-authored by State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) granting surviving spouses the ability to obtain a Purple Heart license plate in honor of their loved ones.
