Red Wolf Sanctuary says goodbye to 38-year Pokey Bear

Born in captivity in 1983, a female black bear was purchased by someone to serve as a surrogate child. Dressed in baby clothes and photographed like an adopted child, she would spend the first decade of her life in a swampy mosquito infested backyard cage.

K of C golfing helps care center

The Knights of Columbus Councils are putting on its annual golf outing for the benefit of the Pregnancy Care Center Southeast Indiana on Monday, May 10. The Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit Christian ministry offering hope to those facing an unplanned pregnancy with life lesson classes for both mothers and fathers.

Dearborn Shred Day celebrates Earth Day

The Dearborn County Recycling Center and the North Dearborn branch of the Lawrenceburg Library will host a Community Shred Day from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, to celebrate Earth Day.
