Parks offer golfing fun

Great Parks has six courses across the county offering play for all levels of golfers, including one at Miami Whitewater Park. Each course is run by PGA professionals who provide instruction to help perfect your game.

First Financial, associates give time and money

First Financial Bank, which has branches in Southeast Indiana, and its associates responded to a difficult year in 2020 by finding resourceful ways to help communities served by the bank, ultimately giving over $3.5 million in financial contributions and more than 8,900 hours of volunteer service.

SE Indiana Art guild ready for annual all -member show

Moorhead named a vice chancellor at Ivy Tech

Ivy Tech Community College has promoted Lisa Moorhead as the vice chancellor for student enrollment and student success at the Lawrenceburg and Batesville campuses as of March 1. Moorhead replaces Shakira Grubbs who was recently promoted to assistant vice president of recruitment strategy at the Indianapolis Campus.

Southwest students headed to state healthcare contest

Twenty-eight Harrison High School/Great Oaks students are headed to state HOSA – Future Healthcare Professionals competition after showing their skills and knowledge in regional events. The competitive events were either individual or team activities and were held virtually.

Survey helps to define digital needs

The Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission is looking for public input on a digital inclusion survey from those living its nine-county region, including Dearborn and Ohio counties. In partnership with the Purdue Center for Regional Development, the regional planning commission is working to develop a regional digital inclusion plan.
