Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to begin chip seal operations in early May on Ind. 56 in Switzerland and Ohio counties. Work will take place from near Walnut Street in Vevay to Glen Meadow Drive in Rising Sun. Crews were scheduled to start as early as Monday, May 3, weather permitting.
Effective Monday, May 10, through Friday, May 21, there will be intermittent lane closures from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Ridge Avenue near the MPGI of Indiana (old Seagram’s) buildings for building maintenance.
The Bright Volunteer Fire Department will lead the Jamison Road cleanup on Saturday, May 8. Volunteers are invited to join in the effort in support of the Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative.
