Cable barriers going up on I-74

Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Specialties Company is planning to start work to install cable barriers along Interstate 74 in Dearborn County Monday, June 7. Excavation for barrier installation is expected to begin next week between Whites Hill Road and the Ohio state line.

City extends agreement with IMPA

After much discussion among city council members, Rising Sun’s contract with the Indiana Municipal Power Agency was extended. IMPA provides the electric power and energy to the city.

New Pavilion

Airman honored as leader, scholar

Airman Logan P. Bovard graduated from the United States Air Force May 27, and received the John Lee Levitow award, the highest honor presented to a graduate of Air Force Enlisted Professional Military Education, including Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and the Senior NCO Academy.
