Wilma A. “Sally” Johnson, 91, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1933, in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of the late Millard and Goldie (Thomas) Jones.

Sally was an avid reader with a love for art, crafts, fashion, and her flowers. She enjoyed vacations to Daytona Beach and treasured time spent with her family. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Wood of Lawrenceburg; her brother, Rodney Jones of Lawrenceburg; her sister, Betty Licking of Lawrenceburg; and her four grandchildren: Jonathan Wood, Paul (Erika) Wood, Victoria (Coty) Williamson, and Vanessa (Josh) Bowers; her surviving in laws, Sonia (Bob) Kaffenberger, Chuck (Thelma) Johnson, Frances (Clayton) Johnson. She is also survived by many other beloved family members and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Johnson; her son, Paul “John” Johnson; her sister-in-law, Sheila Jones; her brother-in-law, Bob Licking; her siblings Mary, Manie, Edwina, Margaret, and Larry; and her in-laws, Clayton Johnson and Don Johnson.

Family and friends were received on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment took place at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, Ind.
