VIRGINIA GENSHEIMER

 Virginia Gensheimer, “Sis”, 96, of Greendale, Ind., passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born June 14, 1928, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of the late Julius and Carrie (Fink) Gensheimer.
 Virginia was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and Lawrenceburg Community Center. She enjoyed playing cards…especially 500 Rummy. Later in life she liked to play Dominoes. She retired from Seagrams Distillery.
 She is survived by her two nieces, Karol Savage Koelling (Kyle), Linda Savage Turpin (James); two nephews, Matthew Gensheimer, Greg (Lora) Gensheimer; several great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah Turpin Minges, Jamie Turpin Boodt (Jake), Carynne Turpin Trammell (Greg), Alissa Turpin Schneider (Todd), Leah Turpin Clemens (Jeff Sanborn), Alyssa Koelling Sullenberger (Brent), John Koelling (Darci), Jared Koelling (Callie), Evan Gensheimer, and Luna Gensheimer.
 She was preceded in death by her father, Julius Gensheimer; mother, Carrie Gensheimer; brother, Arthur Gensheimer; and her two sisters, Frances Savage, Ethel Hazelwood.
 Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11 a.m.
 Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Greendale.
