Turk Gabbard, 65, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022. He was born July 26, 1957 in Batesville, Indiana, son of the late Charles and Carolyn (Tschaenn) Gabbard.

Turk was a member of the Aurora Fire Department for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a simple and quiet man. He worked as a machinist at Multiple Machine.

He is survived by his two daughters, Dawn Beard, Jennifer Gabbard; one brother, Steve Gabbard; two grandchildren, Payton Beard, Harper Turner; and his former spouse and close friend, Kay Gabbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carolyn Gabbard;and his grandson, Brady Gabbard.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to be held at the Aurora Fire Department, Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at 1 p.m.
