Thomas Michael “Tom” Sutton, 60, of Vevay, entered this life on Nov. 26, 1962. He was the son of the late, Kenneth Raymond and Lois Irene (Sullivan) Sutton.
Tom was raised in Aurora and was a graduate of South Dearborn High School. In his high school years, Tom enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball. Tom attended Ivy Tech for computer programming for six months. Tom was united in marriage on May 6, 1989, to Cindy Gail Edwards in Fairview.
He was employed for Alloy Wheels in Warsaw and as a dispatcher for Steel Technologies in Ghent. He was also a former employee for Plastic Molding Factory in East Enterprise. Tom was later employed as a cook for Frisch’s and on the assembly line for Grote Industries in Madison. Tom resided in Johnson City, Tennessee, for five years before moving back to Switzerland County. Tom was currently employed for Arvin Sango in Madison. He was an avid Bengals fan, and loved fishing, collecting sports memorabilia, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family. Tom died from injuries due to a car accident on Feb. 7, 2023, in Jefferson County.
Survivors: daughters, Sally (Bruce) Fields of Delaware, Ohio, and Nikki (Collin Otter) Hite of Vevay; son, Dakota (Megan Humphrey) Sutton of Johnson City, Tennessee, and grandchildren, Reagan Fields, Colten Hite, Tucker Otter, Carson Fields and Garrett Otter.
Preceded in death by parents and companion, Carrie Kenworthy.
