Theresa J. “Terri” York, 64, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

She was born Nov. 15, 1958, in Hamilton, OH, preceded in death by parents, James “Sharkey” and Joan Truitt; husband, Barry York.

Terri is survived by her daughters, Jody (Mark) Wilder, Julie (Brian) Schyler, brother, Tommy (Patty) Truitt; sister, Kim “Truitt” (David) Pruitt; grandchildren, Brian (Deanna), Brent, Brady and Bowen; nieces and nephews, Brent (Katie), Kara, Maria (Fred), Joey, JuliAnna, and Willie; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaiden, Jade, Sage and Augusta; her faithful companion, JosieTails; special friend, Donna Kraus; many cousins, Aunt Hazel, Uncle Jim, many friends, especially her co-workers at Batesville Products were she worked as lead shipping clerk for 30-plus years.

Terri was a member of Bridgetown Baptist Church, enjoyed crocheting, loved her farm animals, horseback riding, laughing with her family and worshiping with her church family.

Graveside Services will be held at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery (Bear Branch) on Saturday July 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Waters officiating.
