Theodore Edward Cox Jr., 74, of Aurora, Ind., passed away Monday, December 18, 2023.
 He was born July 25, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Theodore Cox Sr. and Pearl (Blevins) Cox.
 Ted served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a Purple Heart Recipient.
 He worked in heating and air for many years of service.
 He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
 Ted is survived by his loving spouse Amanda (Vogelgesang) Cox; children, Charmaine Cox Smith, Teddy Adams, Ruthie (Christopher) Fischer, Jacob Cody Cox; four grandchildren; brothers, Kent (MaryAnn) Cox, Richard (Mary Rose) Cox; sisters, Charmaine (Roger) Schindler, Alrene (Tim) Cantwell.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Sr. and Pearl Cox; sister Joyce Campbell.
 Friends will be received Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 3 – 5 p.m. at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora.
 Military Services will be held at the funeral home at 5 p.m.
 Interment will be held at a later date at River View Cemetery.
