Harrison High School Athletic Director Mark Meibers, second from right, described the trio of seniors who signed college letters-of-intent Dec. 20 as “pretty special. These are kids (who) broke the mold in each of their sports.” Those three are three-time state wrestling champion Chloe Dearwester, from left, 2023 state wrestling tournament qualifier Cohl Wandsnider and soccer player Marin Dierkers. Not only did they “break the mold” on the mats and field, but they are Harrison’s first winter signing class. Dearwester is headed to Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina; Dierkers to University of Indianapolis; and Wandsnider to Wheeling (West Virginia) University. The Register will profile each in future issues. Jack Ward
