Shirley Mae (Neiheisel) Borntrager, 96, a resident of Blue Jay, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Harrison, Ohio. She was born on December 11, 1927, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Elmer and Eleanor Neiheisel. She married Leroy Borntrager on May 21, 1949, in Cincinnati. Shirley is survived by her five children: Gary (Barbara), Kent, Cheryl Rolfes, Mark, and Donna (Bob) West; eight grandchildren: Kevin, Curt (Cheri), Luke (Jodi), Ryan (Heather), Logan, Veronica Rolfes, Jim (Christy) Hobbs, Jordan Hobbs; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy, parents, Elmer and Eleanor Neiheisel, and her grandson, Anthony Rolfes. Services will be held on Thursday, June 20 at Miamitown Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Healthy Christian Home or Miamitown Church of Christ.
