ROSEANN “AUNT ROSIE” LAMPERT

Roseann “Aunt Rosie” Lampert, 97, formerly of Greendale, Indiana, while surrounded by her loved ones, went “Home” into Jesus’ welcoming arms on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 and was greeted by loving family, friends, and former pets, who went on before her.  Roseann was born to Ann Marie (Pelgen) and Clarence Lampert on April 27, 1927 in Aurora, Indiana above the Pelgen Cafe. She was a graduate of Oldenburg Academy in 1945.

She became the ultimate, loving, caring,“Aunt Rosie” to eleven nieces and nephews: Always there to babysit, change a diaper, lend an ear, or take you shopping for your next school dance to make sure you got something “Hip”! She was the cool, trustworthy, caring Aunt Rosie. This extended to her great and great-great nieces and nephews as well.
In Heaven, Roseann joins her parents, Ann Marie (Pelgen) and Clarence Lampert; siblings, Jerome Lampert (Mary), Thomas Lampert (Bernice); nephew Michael Lampert; and great niece Alissa Lampert.
