Robert “Angel Bob” Beckett, 94, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022. He was born July 15, 1928, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late James and Edith (Boehler) Beckett.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion and past member of the Dearborn Country Club. He was recently baptized at the Aurora Baptist Church. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf. He liked horse racing and dog racing. His true love was being out in the sun and laying by the pool. He worked as a supervisor for the Kentucky Department of State Parks.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Beckett; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews; and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith Beckett; three brothers, Bill Beckett, Gary “Bo” Beckett, Harold “Buddy” Beckett; and two sisters, Daphne Pollard, Mary Cuneo.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bill Sechrest officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, Indiana.
