Rickie Robinson Jr., 58, of Rising Sun, Ind., passed March 7, 2024. Rickie was born to Cathy Stowe and Rickie Robinson Sr., February 18, 1966, in Lawrenceburg, Ind. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1983 and served his country with pride until his retirement in 2004, during which he achieved the rank of Engineman Chief Petty Officer. During his life he was married twice and lived in many different places. He worked on oil rigs after retirement and settled in the Philippines, where he is laid to rest. He was preceded in death by his father, Rickie Sr., his stepmother, Brenda, stepfather Jack and sister-in-law, Raenette. He is survived by his mother, Cathy, his two younger brothers, Art and Gene, two nieces and four nephews. He would say “Damn, I’m good looking” and there’s truth in that as he is survived by his daughters: Amanda, Presley, Brandi, Sydney, Catherine, and Jessica as well as his son Rickie III. He is also survived by three grandsons and one granddaughter.
 Rickie’s children invite you to celebrate in honoring his life and service on Saturday April 27, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. Event will take place at the Veterans Memorial in Rising Sun.
