Mason J. Uhlmansiek received a Quilt of Valor, made by the Rivertown Quilters Guild, from P. G. Gentrup and Ron Spurlock at the Rising Sun High School basketball game Jan. 17. School superintendent Branden Roeder presented Uhlmansiek with a basketball signed by all of the Rising Sun girls and boys basketball teams. Gentrup presented him with a Vietnam Veterans plaque from the Southeastern Indiana Vietnam Veterans Chapter 71. Uhlmansiek takes photographs at most of the high school’s games and throughout the county. He is a freelance photographer for The Register.Submitted Photo
