Phyllis Alcorn, 94, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, daughter of the late Thomas and Olive (Hall) Coghill.

Phyllis attended St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Crystal River, Florida, where she was an active member and taught Sunday school. She was past president of her local chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. She loved to read. She worked as a purchasing agent at Dearborn County Hospital.

She is survived by her three children, Adanna Haslett of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Gerri (Mike) Hildebrand of Ripley County, Indiana, Veronica Palmer of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; five step-children, Sharon Radebaugh of Texas, Lynn Brown of Nashua, New Hampshire, Bob Alcorn of Nashua, New Hampshire, Dan (Veronica) Alcorn of Albany, New York, Tim (Diane) Alcorn of Westlake, Ohio; four grandchildren, Robert Palmer, Lori Knippenberg, Jason Hildebrand, Brandie Hildebrand; and numerous grea-tgrandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Coghill; mother, Olive Coghill; three husbands, John Schofstoll, Arky Pillsbury, Hugh Alcorn; and five siblings, Harold, Raymond, Kendall, Gladys, and Evelyn.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held at Firmly Rooted Church, 495 Ludlow St, Greendale, Indiana, 47025, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 2:30 p.m.
