PAULINE SUE TURNER O’DAY

 Pauline Sue Turner O’Day, 76, of Spring Hill, Fla., passed away on November 17, 2023, with her beloved husband, Jerry, by her side. Pauline was born on September 16, 1947, in Switzerland County, Ind., to her proud parents, Paul Turner and Elsie (Phillips) Turner.
 After graduating from Vevay High School in Switzerland County, Pauline attended business school in Louisville, Ky. She worked at U.S. Shoe in Cincinnati for several years and had many responsibilities within the company. Her biggest professional accomplishment and greatest source of pride was the wellness program she spearheaded to assist the company’s employees live healthier lives. She retired from U.S. Shoe at the age of 46.
 Pauline moved to Spring Hill after her retirement. She loved the active Florida lifestyle and, because she was kind-hearted and never met a stranger, she had many friends, all of whom she held dear to her heart. She enjoyed traveling, she loved the beach, and she was also a proud and active member of Northcliffe Church for over 20 years. Pauline touched the lives of so many within her church and her residential communities.
 Pauline and Jerry began their lives together in 1986 in Aurora, Ind., and had four children between them, and they were fortunate to enjoy many adventures together. The titles “Wife” and “Mother” were those Pauline cherished most.
 Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerry O’Day of Spring Hill; her daughter Kristin Harycki and son-in-law Mark Harycki of Fishers, Ind.; her son Matthew Auxier and daughter-in-law April Auxier of Elgin, Ill.; her stepson Daren O’Day and stepdaughter-in-law Katy O’Day of Savannah, Ga.; her stepson Douglas O’Day of Naples, Fla.; her grandchildren, Kennedy Nowling, Addison Nowling, Reese Auxier, Parker Auxier, Dustin O’Day, Destiny (O’Day) McCloud, Joshua O’Day, Sara O’Day, Amber O’Day and Elijah O’Day; and her great-grandchildren, Penelope Nesta, Arabella Nesta, Chloe Nesta and Trevor McCloud.
 Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elsie Turner; and by her brothers, Alton Turner and Nelson Turner.
 A Celebration of Life for Pauline will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Northcliff Church in Spring Hill. A time of fellowship will follow the services at the Family Life Center.
 The family would request memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Pauline’s memory in lieu of flowers.
