USS Indiana holds change of command ceremony
GROTON, Connecticut – Cmdr. Kyle McVay turned command of the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Indiana (SSN 789) over to Cmdr. Kyle Johnson in a traditional change-of-command ceremony on June 13, pierside at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut.

HARRISON – Kevin Hardy is the new Southwest Local School District board member.
4-way stop going up
DOVER – A four-way stop sign is scheduled to be installed at State Route 1 and North Dearborn Road on or after Tuesday, July 15, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

SWOC – Seven schools for six years
HARRISON - The Southwest Ohio Conference proved very stable and competitive for most of the first decade of its existence. Founding member Wilmington left the conference after the 2013-2014 school year, leaving Edgewood, in Trenton, and Little Miami, in Morrow, as the geographic outliers. That alignment would hold for six years, until Little Miami departed for the Eastern Cincinnati Conference in 2020.
