Planning has started for an in-person Dearborn County 4-H fair June 21-26, complete with midway and fair food. 4-H leadership will work closely with the Dearborn County Health Department to ensure the safety of all participants and fair patrons.
The city of Lawrenceburg is providing an emergency shelter in response to a winter weather advisory across the region. Individuals or families in need will have access to a warm shelter, blankets, cots, and water.
James Emerson Hough, 90, a native of Paducah, Kentucky, is still going strong. Velda Mae (Weise) Miller, 67, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Velda was born on March 15, 1953 in Cleves, OH, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Atkins) and James Weise.
