Aurora has big plans

Aurora Mayor Mark Drury used the State of the City address last week to thank the city workers for the time and effort they put into their work. “Nothing happens in the city at the hand of one individual,” Drury said.

Road crews prepare for next onslaught

One storm moved out and now the county road crew is preparing for one expected to hit Thursday morning. Dearborn County Highway Superintendent Tim Greive said the county’s 24 trucks were being checked on Wednesday for any needed repairs before expecting to hit the road around 2 a.m.

Studying Hawaii from afar
