Abrams’ bill to protect military children passes House

State Reps. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) and Mike Loychik (R-Bazetta) say the Ohio House has approved House Bill 92, their legislation that requires public children services agencies to report child abuse or neglect in military families to the appropriate military authorities.

Harrison making room for new golf ‘hangout’

High School’s golf program in recent years has played two home courses – Circling Hills Golf Course and Miami Whitewater Golf Course. Beginning this summer they will have more than 250,000, all in an area no bigger than a classroom.

Less-than-healthy Wildcats tease with potential

Someday, perhaps this week or this month, when everyone is healthy and the protocols maybe, just maybe, become less burdensome, Harrison baseball fans will have a better idea about the talent on the 2021 Wildcats.

More doses coming

Extra vaccine for Dearborn County means more people can get their COVID vaccinations this week. The county Health Department will have about 800 doses of the Moderna vaccine available this week for a mass vaccination effort from 8:30 a.m.
