Kindergarten Roundup for the 2021-2022 school year pre-registration for Lawrenceburg schools will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Lawrenceburg Primary School, 400 Tiger Blvd.

Second graders at Moores Hill Elementary are learning about properties of matter, physical and chemical properties, physical and chemical changes, and how engineers and inventors use that knowledge to create new things. Juvenile bald eagle recovering at Red Wolf Sanctuary
Through the collaborative efforts of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department and the staff at the Red Wolf Sanctuary, a juvenile bald eagle was rescued and is now recovering at its new home. A girl passerby spotted the bird of prey near the edge of a road where it was said to have only been able to run up and down hill, across the road, and through a yard.

Police in ‘full-court press’ to combat impaired, dangerous driving
