Dearborn Shred Day celebrates Earth Day
The Dearborn County Recycling Center and the North Dearborn branch of the Lawrenceburg Library will host a Community Shred Day from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, to celebrate Earth Day. The shred day will beheld in the parking lot of the North Dearborn Branch at 25969 Dole Road, West Harrison.

Food growers group receives grant
The Food and Growers Association of Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Ripley, Rush, Shelby and Union counties has received a $14,720 Food Council Development Grant from Indian Grown. The association was one of five that receives grants from Indiana Grown.
