School districts in Dearborn County will have millions of dollars in funding coming from the American Rescue Plan Act, and they are trying to figure out how to use the funding. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) said the estimated funds that public school districts across the state will receive as part of the third round of federal stimulus dollars totals an estimated $1.8 billion.
COVID-19 cases are climbing in Dearborn County and that is why the state has moved the county from the Blue status to the Yellow status as of Wednesday, April 21. The move comes after the county Health Department reported there were 46 positives tests in the week of April 12-18, with 114 negative tests.
A record snowfall for April 21 left the grass and non hard surfaces covered with about 2 inches of snow at Lawrenceburg’s Ludlow Hill Park Wednesday morning.
