On Jan. 21, 2023, Susan Dee (Gregg) Brockhoff was welcomed home at the age of 77. 

Susan was born on Dec. 16, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to George and Grace (Wurmus) Gregg. She was set up on a blind date and over french fries at a Chili place her future husband, Larry Brockhoff, fell head over heels for her. On Feb. 17, 1965, Susan married Larry Brockhoff and they were blessed with two children: Sheri and Michael.

Susan enjoyed being a mom and was easy going and a hard worker. She babysat children in her home and later started cleaning homes for others. As a wife of an avid golfer, she spent many weekends with her children, but it never bothered her because she loved spending time with her family. Special trips to Florida were her favorite, she loved the beach and the mountains. She also enjoyed attending church at Berean Baptist, eating out with her honey, Larry, and watching football.  Susan was a strong woman and never complained even with the pain she was going through the last few months. 

Her loving legacy will live on with her devoted husband Larry Brockhoff; loving children: Sheri (Mike) Maucher and Michael Brockhoff; cherished granddaughter: Amanda (Andrew) Stevenson; beloved great-grandchildren: Grace and Reagan Stevenson; brother: Tom (Pam) Gregg; sister-in-law: Barbara (Don) Harcus; many nieces, nephews and friends. We must not forget her dog, Sophie, who will miss her comfortable lap to sleep on. 

Susan was preceded in death by her parents: George and Grace Gregg; and siblings: Jean Carter, George, Gary, and Charles Gregg. 

Visitation will be at Berean Baptist Church, 24241 State Line Road, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Entombment will follow at Gibson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Berean Baptist Church.
