Michael W. Shinkle passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 71 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born on July 28, 1951, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Linda Shinkle, and his children, Christopher Shinkle/Parish and spouse Kevin Parish, and Jason Shinkle; and his mother, Wanda Treadway. He was preceded in death by his father, William Shinkle.

Michael also leaves behind his extended family of stepson Corbin Morwick and spouse Amy, stepdaughter-in-law Kari Morwick, stepgrandchildren Lucy Morwick, Benjamin Morwick, Addison Morwick and Quincy Morwick. brother Mark Shinkle and spouse Esther Shinkle, and sister Michelle Presley and spouse Ron Presley.

Michael graduated from Aurora High School and went on to receive an associate degree from Vincennes University. He worked for Cincinnati Inc. for more than 40 years.

Michael loved his God and family and contributed to many charities for children, including World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse. He enjoyed worshipping at Indian Creek Christian Church and was an avid antique medicine bottle and comic book collector. Michael also loved to fish and watch the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds teams play.

There will be no memorial service.
