It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa Brent Krouse on May 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Missy was born on July 8, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Brent and Ada Fox.
 Missy met the love of her life and beloved husband, David A. Krouse Sr. Missy and Dave made their home in Aurora, Ind., where they lived for 58 beautiful years. Their love blossomed into a family enriched by the joy of their two children, Steve and Shelly, who brought immense joy, happiness, and pride to their lives.
 Missy was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support of her family and friends.
 Missy found immense joy in working with and molding the lives of children during her 30 years at South Dearborn Community Schools. She took pride in nurturing their growth and inspiring them to achieve their potential, leaving a lasting impression on the countless young hearts and minds. Her dedication to education was a reflection of her deep compassion and commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
 She was preceded in joining the Lord by her mother and father, Ada and Brent Fox, sister, Brenda Irons and brother, Pete Fox.
 She is survived by her husband, David Krouse Sr.; son, Steve (Maria) Krouse; daughter, Shelly (Matt) Sensel; stepson, David (Mary Anne) Krouse, Jr.; granddaughter, Kassondra (Joe) Jedding; grandsons, Cory (Carly) Black, Tyler (Mallory) Black, Justin Krouse, Joshua Krouse, James Krouse; granddaughter, Julia Krouse; six great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Elijah, Laynee, Adalind, Twyla and Millie sisters, Bonnie Nocks and Shelly Hubbartt. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
