MARJORIE V. EISENSHANK

 Marjorie V. Eisenshank, 97, peacefully passed from this life on October 17, 2024. Born in Dearborn County, Ind., on February 20, 1927, she was the beloved daughter of Leslie and Linda (Martinelli) Ake. Marjorie shared a deep bond of love and partnership with her husband, Robert Eisenshank, a proud WWII Purple Heart veteran, whom she married on October 4, 1952.
 Marjorie was a devoted mother and wife, known for her unwavering commitment to her family and her community. She lived a life of service, always with a heart open to those in need and arms ready for a loving embrace. For over three decades, she dedicated countless hours as a member of the Dearborn County Hospital Auxiliary, where she passionately volunteered in the gift shop. Her compassion extended to many, as she served as a den mother for Cub Scouts, became a cherished pen pal to elementary school children, and lovingly took on the role of “grandmother” on Grandparents Day for kids whose grandparents could not attend.
 A faithful member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Marjorie led the Rosary and served as a Eucharistic Minister, bringing comfort and companionship to nursing home residents. Her life was guided by her heartfelt motto: “Use your voice for kindness, your ears for compassion, your hands for charity, your mind for truth, and your heart for love.”
 Marjorie is survived by her son, Mike Eisenshank; her daughter, Terri Mallett; her grandson, Adam Mallett; and her granddaughters, Season Eisenshank and Robin Harvey.
 Preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law: Sharon Eisenshank.
 Private services with a Private burial to be held at Greendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in Marjorie’s memory.
 Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
