Marion Martin, 79, of Aurora, Ind., passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. He was born October 16, 1944, in Milan, Ind., son of the late Red and Frances (Lange) Martin.
 Marion was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Dillsboro Masonic Lodge and Murat Shrine. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved late model dirt track racing and was a car owner that had cars that raced World of Outlaws. He worked as a fork lift operator at Seagram’s Distillery.
 He is survived by his wife, Ronda Martin of Aurora; stepson, Zach Smith of Rising Sun, Ind.; two brothers, Jerry Martin of Moores Hill, Ind., Mike Martin of northern Kentucky; and numerous friends.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Red and Frances Martin; son, Dean “Deano” Martin; two brothers, Donnie Martin, Jim Martin; sister, Betty Skipton; brother-in-law, Rick Skipton; and his sister-in-law, Linda Martin.
 Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Marion’s Life gathering at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Friday, August 30, 2024, from 4 – 7 p.m.
