Margaret “Peggy” L. Otto, 75, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, at her home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1946, at CG Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Walter Lynam and Christine (Ferguson) Lynam. She worked as an office manager in Cincinnati. She spent many years taking care of elderly people with Alzheimer’s.

She was known by most as “Peggy.” Peggy enjoyed anything and everything involving the loves of her life, her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her three children Edward (Melinda) Otto, Christina (Jeff) Walker, Daniel (Amy) Otto; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mollie Brazier; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Charles Otto; sons, Michael and James; and brothers, Frank, Bill, and John. Services will be announced at a later date.
