John Evan Hopkins, 32, from Greendale, Ind., passed away unexpectedly from failing health on January 20, 2024. Born in Provo, Utah, on February 20, 1991, to father Larry Hopkins (deceased), mother Vickie Hopkins, and brother of Nicholas Hopkins. He leaves behind his beloved fiance Erika Walsh and two wonderful daughters Kinsley and Ember Hopkins. John enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, skateboarding, playing guitar, art, teaching his daughters Spanish, and astronomy.
 A memorial will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home in Greendale on Saturday, February 17 from 2 – 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to John’s children Kinsley and Ember Hopkins in care of their mother, Erika Walsh at Civista Bank.
