JAMES ALAN HEHE

 Mr. James Alan Hehe, 52, of Vevay, Ind., entered this life on August 12, 1972, in Batesville, Ind. He was the loving son of Joseph Lowell and Linda Marie (Osborn) Hehe. He was raised in Switzerland County, Ind., and was a 1990 graduate of Switzerland County High School. James graduated with a degree in computer science from Purdue University. He was formerly employed for American Racing in Warsaw, Ky., for a few years. James was later employed as a blackjack dealer for Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Ind., for five years. From 2006-2020, James was employed as a blackjack dealer for Belterra Casino & Resort. James was currently employed in security for Belterra Casino & Resort since 2021. He was a member of the Son’s of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 and the Vevay VFW Post #5396 Auxiliary. He was also a member of the Brushy Fork Baptist Church. James enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing and shooting guns. He enjoyed talking about sports and listening to sports on the radio. He was a dedicated Purdue fan and was passionate about supporting his team. James unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at his residence.
 James will be deeply missed by his parents, Joseph Lowell and Linda Marie (Osborn) Hehe of Vevay; his siblings, Joseph Hehe Jr. of Worthville, Ky, Anthony Hehe and his wife Theresa of Worthville, Cheryl Saunders and her husband David of Vevay, and Timmy Hehe of Vevay; his nephews, Steven Hehe, Charles Hehe, Joshua Hehe and Anthony Michael Hehe; his niece, Hylary Chalton; his aunts and uncles, John Osborn of Madison, Ind., Mary Lou Furnish of Vevay, Frank Adams of Georgetown, Ohio, Betty Jo Pavy of Cannelton, Ind., Debbie Stewart of Vevay, and Cathy Hehe of Leesburg, Fla., and his several cousins.
 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chester Leon and Barbara Jean (Pate) Osborn; his paternal grandparents, Gilbert R. and Ruth H. (Aufderheide) Hehe; his nieces, Vanessa Marie Hehe and Jasmine Nicole Saunders; his nephew, Micah Joseph Saunders and his aunts and uncles, Shirley Adams, Robert Hehe, Mary Jo Taylor, Gereth Furnish and Dennis Pavy and his cousins.
 Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, and from 9 – 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, IN 47043.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, by Rev. Mike Jones at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, IN 47043.
 Interment will follow in Vevay Cemetery, Vevay.
