Helena Mary Selmeyer, nèe Cassady, 83, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away on April 25, 2025, in Edgewood, Ky. She was born on September 16, 1941, in Hamilton, Ohio, to William Thomas and Marjorie Mary Cassady.
 After graduating from Dillsboro High School in 1959, she worked in several fields including as a bookkeeper, secretary, realtor, and finally as a member of the Fireman and Oiler’s Union at Seagram’s, from which she retired. Helena loved reading, gardening, and talking with friends.
 She is survived by her three children, Robert Thomas (Heather) Bressert, Matthew Grant (Dawn) Campbell, and Marjorie Mary (Joseph) Salazar. Also surviving her are five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her sister Donna Sue Babin.
 Helena’s wishes were to be cremated with no services. Contributions in her memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or Dearborn County PAWS.
