Glendal R. Stork, 87, formerly of Evansville, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, Ind.
 Glendal was born in Huntingburg, Ind., on June 30, 1937, to the late August D. and Irma Kathryn (Brown) Stork. Glendal worked as a funeral director for over 50 years. He had owned and operated his own funeral home in Aurora, Ind., before retiring from Pierre Funeral Home after almost 20 years of service to the Evansville community. While living in Aurora, Glendal was a Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #51, Scottish Rite, Aurora Rotary Club and Life Squad; serving the community of Aurora. He attended Christian Fellowship Church while living in Evansville and most recently was attending Centenary United Methodist in Terre Haute with his family. Glendal was a very kind and generous man with a servant’s heart. He could fix anything and was always willing to help anyone in need.
 Surviving Glendal are daughters, Jana (John) Schuler, Julie McBride, Jenny (Melvin) Ballard, and Jamie Bowling; stepchildren, Carla Luigs; Scott (Madonna) Imel and Mark (Jenifer) Imel; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren with one more due in February of 2025.
 In addition to his parents, Glendal was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Nancy Sue (Heinlin) Stork in 2022; by a brother, Wayne Stork; son-in-law, Don McBride and great-grandson, Cole Hansell.
 Funeral services for Glendal will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Mark Zerkel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
