Gary Joe Cobb Sr., 57, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, in Harrison, Ohio.

Gary was born in Montgomery, Louisiana, on Feb. 20, 1966, a son of Patsy Ruth (Woodel) Coleman, of Warsaw, Kentucky, and the late OC Cobb. He was a graduate of Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky. Gary proudly served his country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force receiving the AF Commendation Medal and AF Achievement Medal.

Gary was the beloved husband of Karen (Chamberlin) Cobb. Gary and Karen were married July 29, 1993. Gary was vice president and sales manager at Schaefer Box & Pallet Co. in Hamilton, Ohio. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and woodworking. Spending time with his grandchildren is what he loved most.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Karen Cobb, of Aurora, Indiana; by his son, Gary Joe Cobb Jr. and wife Sarah, of Fisherville, Kentucky; by his stepson, Tony Sandfoss and wife Casey, of Edgewood, Kentucky; by his mother, Patsy Coleman, of Warsaw, Kentucky; by his stepmother, Louella Cobb, of Honea Path, South Carolina, and by his four cherished grandchildren: Trent, Owen, Evelyn and Olivia. Gary is also survived by two brothers, Tony Cobb, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky and Doyle Cobb and wife Deanna, of Crittenden, Kentucky, and by his stepsister, Suzanne Mull, of Honea Path, South Carolina.
