Esther Gindling, 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born July 16, 1935, in Topeka, Kansas, daughter of the late Clemens and Johanna (Frilling) Kallage.
Esther was a past member of St Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer, liked bingo, and loved spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her two sons, David Gindling of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Daniel Gindling Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Sandy (Joel) Hipp of Tipp City, Ohio, Sherryl (Mike) Broderick of Bright, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Kristen (Kevin) Dion, Brandon (Alexandra) Hipp, Kurtis (Kelley) Gindling, Evan (Christina) Gindling, Adam (Allison) Hipp, Shannon (Don) Ross, Robert Broderick, Leah Broderick, Brayden Shearer-Gindling; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clemens and Johanna Kallage; husband, Daniel Gindling Sr.; sister, Mary Ann Frey; and her brother, Adalbert Kallage.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Greendale, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 10 a.m., with Father Daniel Mahan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
