Donna Arlene Dills, 78, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023.

She was born March 30, 1944, in Oswego, New York, daughter of the late Millard C. Wingate and Norma (Pelow) Wingate.

Donna worked as a server for several years. Donna’s favorite times were the time spent with her kids and grandkids.

Donna is survived by her children, Carla Sabree, Melissa Matthies, William Elza, Christopher Hankins, Donedda (David) Conner, Roney (Dave) Horn, Carrie Karn, Shannon (Crystal) Louden; grandchildren, Tammy, Sarah, Michelle, Felicia, Bryston, Dylan, Alexis, Kaylee, Kristina, Kerri, Kellsie, and Katie; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, John (Sevil) Wingate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Norma; daughter, Tamera Sortwell, son, Carl Louden; brother, Ronnie Wingate; sister, Doris Egolf; and best friend Connie Donnley.

Friends will be received Monday, March 6, 2023, noon-2 p.m. at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St., Aurora, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home, at 2 p.m. immediately following visitation. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
