David Theophile Kaufhold, of West Chester, passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 20, 1957, to Theophile “Phil” Kaufhold and Patricia (nee Sauntry) Clark.

David grew up in Harrison, graduating from William Harrison High School class of 1975. He then went on to Georgetown College for his bachelor’s degree and Xavier for his master’s degree in accounting, becoming a CPA. David retired as vice president of Operations for Jack in the Box restaurant chain. He was an avid Cincinnati sports fan. David was extremely generous to everyone, especially his family and friends. He enjoyed family get togethers playing card games and telling “a story.”

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Patricia Clark; daughter, Elyssa Kha; grandsons, Brayden and Nathan Kha; siblings: Susan (Terry) Bourquein, Teri (Colin) Alesbury, Robert (Shari) Kaufhold, Michael (Mandy) Kaufhold; partner, Patty Schuh; nieces and nephews: Nick (Katy) Bourquein, Jessica (Cory) Lehmann, Cassy (Andrew) Unkraut, Ross and Andrea Kaufhold, Alexa and Jaydon Kaufhold; great-nieces and nephews, Bryson and Blakley Lehmann.

Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 10 a.m.until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
