David May, 88, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022. He was born Jan. 21, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Millard and Leona (Edwards) May.

David was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He liked to fish and hunt. He enjoyed gardening and farming. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family. He worked as an Electrician at Monsanto.

He is survived by his four sons, Ron May of Guilford, Indiana, Steve May of Wasilla, Arkansas, Mike (Kendra) May of Guilford, Indiana, Doug (Tina) May of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; sister, Joanne (Jim “Buster”) Cleary of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, Audrey, Ron Jr., Elaine, Ian, Vanessa, Danielle, Kody, Corey, Taylor, Hailey, Cole, Cheyenne; and seven great–grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Leona May; grandson, Tanner May; two brothers, Donald May, Harry May; and one sister, Carol Sue Schwarz.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
